Major Inspection PT Pertamina

Ansaldo Thomassen and Ansaldo ESG have successfully completed a Major Inspection on the Thomassen International Frame 6B and Brush Generator in 2010 at our Customer PT Pertamina located in Indonesia. The complete rotor of the Gas Turbine and the rotor of the Generator have been removed, inspected and parts have been replaced. The Major Inspection was performed with the local support of PT Modaco Enersys.

By sending a reference letter the Customer showed their satisfaction with the services and activities done by Ansaldo Thomassen, Ansaldo ESG and PT Modaco Enersys, within schedule and budget limits. Especially the previous high vibration levels of 12 mm/sec at the Frame 6B Gas Turbine that has been reduced to well below the normal operating levels.
